I was tasked to develop a project that was focused on typography. Appropriate typography is a vital and integral consideration for any successful Graphic Designer, thus the importance of getting this part of a graphic design brief correct is absolutely critical. Well judged typography will add an integral element of delivering information to any design. Moreover, it offers the opportunity develop a sense of brand identity.
My brief was focused on the words ‘Negative Invasion’ and my task was to express these words using typography. I considered several options and settled upon 3D typography, which although not always popular, was the perfect fit for my ideas in this instance. I was able to successfully convey these words by utilizing ideas based on isometric design.
